I'm Youness, and online, i go by @saiunes.
I work across frontend, backend, APIs, cloud infrastructure, integrations, deployment, and the day-to-day operation of a product. I care about taking an idea beyond a demo and turning it into software that can run, serve people, and keep improving.
The beginning
How it started
Coding has been part of my life since high school. I started by learning my way around Linux, then moved into building small apps, 2D games in C, and Android projects.
The attraction was always practical. I wanted to understand how software worked, make something with it, and then learn whatever the next problem required.
The path
Learning by building
I studied computer engineering in college, but eventually left and continued learning on my own. Most of what i know came from building things, breaking things, fixing them, and learning whatever i needed next.
After college, i spent a few years trying different online businesses, including blogging and selling through eBay and other marketplaces. Eventually i came back to what always held my attention the most: software.

Streaming technology
From 2018 to 2023, i became increasingly focused on streaming technology. That work eventually led me to build the first version of SAIUNES Streaming Studio.
Streaming Studio is one project inside a broader body of work. It reflects the kind of development i enjoy most: software that combines backend systems, infrastructure, media processing, integrations, deployment, and ongoing operation.

Why SAIUNES?
SAIUNES started in 2017 as the name i used to share things i had tested, learned, and found useful with the community.
I stepped away for a while during COVID to focus on my family. When i returned, i decided to start fresh. Today, saiunes.com is my home on the internet and the place where i publish what i build.
Instagram is my main social platform. You can follow @saiunes or visit my profiles page as more confirmed links are added.
Now
Current direction
I'm self-taught, i spend a lot of time coding, and i tend to get completely absorbed in whatever i'm working on. My goal now is to keep becoming a stronger software developer, grow the products i build, and work with people who are serious about creating useful software.
