To stream video to an RTMP destination, you need a source video, a destination server URL, and a private stream key. SAIUNES combines those details in one Create stream form and sends the prerecorded MP4 after it has been processed.
What Is an RTMP Destination?
An RTMP destination is the live endpoint that receives your broadcast. The platform normally provides two separate values:
- An RTMP server or destination URL
- A stream key that identifies and authorizes your channel
You may receive these values from YouTube, Facebook, Twitch, Kick, TikTok, Instagram, or another compatible service, depending on its current eligibility rules. Follow that platform's live-stream setup instructions because the location and format can change.

Prepare the Destination First
Create or configure the live event at the destination. Copy the server URL and key exactly as provided. Confirm the event's title, visibility, audience settings, category, and any required disclosures.
Never publish the stream key, place it in screenshots, or send it through an unsecured message. If it is exposed, regenerate it at the destination before broadcasting.
Connect the Video in SAIUNES
Open SAIUNES Live Studio and select Create stream. Then:
- Enter a recognizable stream name.
- Paste the destination's RTMP server URL.
- Paste the private RTMP stream key.
- Select the prerecorded MP4.
- Select Create stream.
SAIUNES uploads and processes the MP4. It typically becomes Ready within about 10 seconds to 1 minute depending on the video's duration and file size, although larger files can take longer.
When the status is Ready, choose Start now or Schedule start. Choose Run non-stop if it should continue until you pause it, or set a Schedule pause date and time.

Verify the Broadcast
After starting, open the destination as a viewer and confirm:
- Video and audio are present
- The intended event is receiving the signal
- Visibility is correct
- The title and description are accurate
- The destination reports a healthy connection
- The video has permission to be broadcast
Some destinations require an additional confirmation in their own control room before the public event begins. Follow the status shown there.
Troubleshoot Connection Problems
If no signal arrives, compare the URL and key with the current destination values. Check for extra spaces, a regenerated or expired key, an unpublished destination event, missing account permission, or an unsupported endpoint.
