Traditional streaming software depends on a computer, local internet connection, and electricity remaining available for the entire broadcast. Cloud live streaming moves that ongoing work away from your personal device.

With SAIUNES Live Studio, you use the computer to configure the stream—not to send every second of the broadcast.

Why Local 24/7 Streaming Is Difficult

A local setup may depend on streaming software staying open, enough upload bandwidth, continuous power, operating-system stability, and a computer that cannot be restarted freely.

That can be reasonable for a short live event. It becomes harder for a nonstop video stream that should run throughout the day and night.

For a direct comparison, see cloud streaming versus OBS.

How the SAIUNES Workflow Removes the Local Computer

The process is simple:

  1. Open Live Studio and select Create stream.
  2. Enter the destination RTMP URL and private stream key.
  3. Select the prerecorded MP4.
  4. Select Create stream.
  5. Wait while SAIUNES uploads and processes the video.
  6. When the stream is Ready, start now or schedule the start.
  7. Run non-stop or schedule a pause.

Processing typically takes about 10 seconds to 1 minute depending on file duration and size, although larger files can take longer. The full setup appears in the guide to streaming prerecorded videos live 24/7.

Can You Close the Browser?

Yes. After the upload has completed, the video has been processed, and the stream is running online, your browser does not need to remain open to perform the broadcast.

You can sign back in whenever you want to review the status, start or pause the stream, replace its video, or change its settings.

What Cloud Streaming Does Not Guarantee

No service can guarantee that a broadcast will never be interrupted. A stream can still be affected by destination outages, changed stream keys, platform restrictions, source-file problems, account limits, or service and network interruptions.

Monitor the stream regularly and respond to warnings from the destination.

Benefits Beyond Turning Off the Computer

24/7 prerecorded streaming can also reduce dependence on home upload bandwidth, free the computer for other work, simplify remote management, and keep content available across time zones.

The destination still controls who can stream and what content is allowed. Use only material you own or have permission to broadcast.

A Better Role for Your Computer

Your device remains useful for preparing the MP4 and managing the channel, but it does not need to carry the continuous broadcasting workload. That distinction is the core benefit of a cloud-based live stream.
